Bon Appetit is a public participatory project, where by audience becomes part of the performative and creative process. The project consists of archival image taken from the internet referring to people affected by drought and famines in India printed on to cocktail paper napkins. The cocktail napkins, wrapped around wine glasses are to be given to the audience on the opening reception of the exhibition for wiping their hands or faces. The process of wiping (figuratively meaning to erase or to get rid of) is symbolic of our apathy towards the human condition perpetuated by multinational organizations in the name of capitalism and economic globalization.
